We, the Missionary Sisters of the Mary, Mother of the Church, a group of three hundred sisters from Uganda, invite you to join us on an incredible journey that will empower, through education, countless lives of African girls who otherwise remain bound by the chains of poverty and lack of opportunity. Currently we are teaching in 30 schools across Uganda. With your help, a small group of our sisters, now in Tanzania for 6 years, seek to establish a Christ centered girls’ boarding/day school from nursery level through their secondary education. It will provide the foundation necessary to escape the social and economic barriers that currently prevent growth and accomplishment. Please read further to understand the depth of our commitment, the plight of these girls and our hope for the future generation of Tanzanian women!
